Wells Fargo Home Mortgage: Pioneering Spanish Mortgage Documentation
July 12, 2010
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFHM) is one of the largest home lenders in the US. The company originates and services residential first mortgages and home equity loans as part of the massive Wells Fargo banking family. The division also securitizes and sells home loans that it does not keep for its portfolio, which weighs in at more than $130 billion in assets. In 2004, WFHM started an aggressive marketing program to target Spanish-speaker customers. As part of the program, the company required the Spanish translation of all major consumer banking documents used throughout the 50 states. Request a PDF of this case study
